I chose these artist because they all share something in common, all of these were create during the Corona virus lock down. Being at home for so long (and as well as a hint of boredom) sparked these artist creativity and motivated them to do these creations. Being at home also made me do things I normally did not have time for; having more free time is very relaxing and not stressful like my normal schedule. These artist all told me that they were fed up doing nothing so here is their work:
Dylan Puerta’s House:

Dylan spent countless hours looking up houses that he would like to live in real life one day. So by piecing together aspects of the designs he found, he then decided to build a replica of the front of the house in Minecraft. He told me that he really enjoyed the concept of two staircases that were symmetrical and wrapped around a Two-stories house. “It made me seem very upper class like an entrance to a plaza in LA or sorts”. Having a balcony in the front will make it very nice to sit and relax and talk with neighbor or enjoy the great outdoors. A flat roof (more modern take) is something he would like to have too. He told me that he have not spent much time designing the inside but he sure is doing his research for it.
Brittney’s House:

Brittney create this house in Animal Farm during the being of the pandemic and is very proud of her work. The mechanic in this game is that you acquire resources in order to sell and make money with in turn was able to allow her to buy these furniture. Brittney spent countless of hours “Farming” (gathering resources) in order to have this home she lives in. She said that she loves inviting her friends over and showing off her designing skills. She wanted to mention that the stairs alone made her Farm for at least 2 hours each in order to get that many nuts (their currency)
TJ’s House:

Tj wanted to become an architect when we grew up. He used Minecraft as a platform to build his ideas and see they would become. Lately he’s been interested in modern looks so he went some and took inspiration and eventually built this. He mentioned how the sidewalk was part of the modern look and the outside “Japanese garden” is a major thing he loves in houses.
